Ashoka is a not-for-profit association located in Geneva, Switzerland, that promotes the following objectives:

• Encourage harmony, acceptance and growth through the creation of tailor-made ceremonies to mark the major passages of life, in particular for people whose spiritual values take them outside the religious mainstream. Occasions such the naming of a child, a wedding or partnership, a separation, funerals and other major passages of life should be commemorated.
• Provide personalised accompaniment for individuals, couples and families, in accordance with their values and belief systems, as they move through the  significant transitions of their lives.
• Offer training for individuals, couples or professionals interested in the creation of tailor-made ceremonies.
